Downing Street II
As we slide further into the jackbooted world that George Bush has erected and planned for us -- even as the tepid force of resistance to our increasing servitude is beginning to gain purchase -- further news comes of the deceit practiced by both Bush and Blair in the pre-Iraq Kabuki. From the Niger forgeries, the stovepiping of intelligence misrepresentation to the proven non-existence of WMD, the neo-con, neo-fascist plot to sink America into war are increasingly well documented.
This, from the Guardian and the Independent, is further sad and, to me, horrifying, evidence of the plot and the collusion of the sycophant Blair:

I don't hold out much hope for a truly progessive reaction to the fear-laden, apathy based status quowe have become to save us from ourselves. But I hope to be around long enough to see the worst offenders and the most egregious offense be espose, prosecuted, and documented as history in place. Sad for a formerly great county to be rememebered for the pseudo , spin based representation of the current political environment its mouthpieces, and numerous abbetors.
